A table tennis player must master and have tactics
to attack because by hitting the ball fast and hard
towards the opponent's table field, it will be able
to destroy the opponent's defense. Therefore, table
tennis players should always take the initiative
to make aggressive attacks on the opponent.
This is done using various forms of fast, strong
or hard, and precise punches. The usual attack tactics
used by players are basically using forehand and
backhand strokes with spin balls.
But keep in mind, players with good defense can
also be very reliable to win a match.
One tactic of table tennis is to keep the ball in play
longer than your opponent. By staying consistent
on all our shots, we can often win points by default,
because the opponent will make unforced errors.
In other words, a good defender can beat an attacking
player, as long as he is able to consistently keep
the ball longer than his opponent.
With a relatively small table, players are required
to hit with high accuracy in placing the ball.
To anticipate an opponent's attack, players must read
the possible direction of the opponent's ball.
The majority of players will place the ball diagonally
across the table. Why? Because if the diagonal
of the ball's path becomes longer on the table surface,
and the probability of the ball going in is greater.
Players in anticipating attacks must build instincts
towards the direction of the ball diagonally. However,
to anticipate the arrival of a straight ball, players must
also hone good reflexes.
Keep your concentration and thinking while playing
and be smart in making decisions quickly and
accurately.
We must first know the opponent's weakness.
Weaknesses of opponents will be known when we are
playing with him. If we already know and know our
opponent beforehand, use these weaknesses to defeat
him.
Healthy spirit and greetings 🏓
